A 45-year-old Garfield Ridge man was charged with one felony count of aggravated battery and one misdemeanor count of battery after he was arrested in the 6900 block of South Pulaski at 6:08 p.m. Saturday, July 29.

Jon M. Lasso, of the 5100 block of South Massasoit, is due in bond court today. Police said that shortly before Lasso was arrested, he stabbed a 50-year-old man and beat a 24-year-old man in the 6300 block of South Kolin. They offered no other details.
According to public records, Lasso has been arrested four times by CPD since 2016 on such charges as criminal trespass to land and public indecency.
